Katie and Tony DeSantis are set to open the first Vitality Bowls Cafe in Omaha, NE on Thursday, September 6 to give healthy eating a new meaning in Omaha. The new café, is located in Aksarben Village at 1922 S. 67th Street.
Omaha’s newest restaurant is a superfood café specializing in açaí bowls – a thick blend of the Amazon’s antioxidant-rich açaí berry, topped with a variety of superfoods. The Café also serves smoothies, Panini’s, fresh juice and salads, and includes a wide variety of locally source drink options through partnerships with Hardy Coffee, Artemis Tea and FishEye Kombucha.
Katie, an Omaha native, along with husband Tony are excited to help expand Omaha’s healthy eating options through the opening of Vitality Bowls. Taking advantage of Pango Financial’s DreamSpark program, Katie and Tony were able to fund the opening of their first café.
Asked about Pango Financial’s assistance, Tony said “The Pango Financial team worked closely with us to make sure we understood the process, took care of the administration and compliance items and made the overall process seamless. The team was great to work with and very hands-on.”
Originating in Northern California, Vitality Bowls has solidified itself as America’s superfood café – combining a dynamic café vibe with a unique collection of menu items containing high nutritional values and extraordinary tastes.
